The National Association for Civil War Brass Music, Inc. (NACWBM)
is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in February 2007.

Branches of the NACWBM include
The Federal City Brass Band and the 26th North Carolina Regimental Band, performing original music of the
mid-19th century on original instruments of the period.

The NACWBM is also the sponsor of
The National Civil War Field Music School, which offers musical and military training for field musicians in the Civil
War re-enacting hobby.  Watch for more information about the
2014 National Civil War Field Music School to be held June 6-8, 2014!

The NACWBM is pleased to be a supporter of TAPS 150, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to commemorating the 150th anniversary of America's
most famous bugle call.  
The 150th anniversary of Taps will be marked by a series of events and educational programs culminating with a living
history event and re-dedication of the Taps monument at Berkeley Plantation, Harrison's Landing, VA, June 22-24, 2012,
on the site of the first
sounding of the call in the summer of 1862.  For more information or to register, please visit, where you can also purchase copies of the
